We are proud to be supplying the gorgeous Parkgate Hotel, in the centre of Cardiff. Sian has worked with the chefs to create an exciting menu of patisserie and dessert perfect for such a luxurious venue.
For dessert, we have classic (and unbeatable!!) Paris Brest and of course Rich Chocolate Caramel torte. It’s made with layers of crunchy chocolate base with chocolate mousse, caramel mousse, chocolate sponge and Chris is glazing the tortes in the video with our dark chocolate mirror glaze. The chefs in the restaurant place a dark chocolate disk over the hole, which is revealed by pouring hot chocolate sauce in the centre in front of the guest.
Afternoon tea is one of Sian’s specialities and she’s developed an extensive menu with the Parkgate team. The theme of the afternoon tea is Post Office as the hotel was a Post Office sorting room before it’s re-vamp into a luxury hotel. So we’ve developed traditional flavours in modern ways.
